MIKE GRIFFITH AWARDED MBIA PRESIDENT’S AWARD

Mike Griffith, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of HPS Management was recognized and awarded by 2018 Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) President, Jeff Caruso, as the recipient of the President’s Award at MBIA’s President’s Luncheon hosted on December 13, at Congressional Country Club.

This prestigious award is given to a MBIA member who shows remarkable service to the association. Mike is being recognized for his notable dedication as a member and outstanding support as a sponsor to MBIA. HPS Management has sponsored numerous events throughout the year, which earned them the Top Sponsor Award for 2018. In addition to being an exceptional sponsor, Mike has been an active member of the membership committee since HPS joined the association. Mike successfully recruited 12 new members as Team Captain for their 2018 membership drive and actively brings in new members all year.  Mike also serves as a volunteer for MBIA events and is always eager to assist with his time and talents.

Mike is the recipient of the President’s Award for his hard work, loyalty and dedication to helping the MBIA President and the Association achieve success.

Donations Being Accepted to Help the Victims of the Aberdeen/Perryman Shooting Incident

The Harford County, Maryland community is rallying around the victims and families of those killed and injured in the Aberdeen/Perryman, Maryland, shooting incident on September 20, 2019.  

Those who wish to contribute to the victims and their families can go to www.VictoriRussell.org.  All funds will go through the Victoria Russell Foundation, a local non-profit which helps support victims of crime.

The Victoria Russell Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established by J.D.  Russell in 2015 to help foster a strong relationship between the community and law enforcement. In addition to education of the public and awarding scholarships to children of law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel, part of its mission is to assist victims of crimes and their family in times of need immediately following a crime.
Donations can also be made by calling 410-881-4646, and a volunteer will return your call. Any non-monetary donations may be dropped off at the HPS Management office, at 424 North Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Donation Website Created to Help Victims of Edgewood Maryland Shooting Incident

The Harford County, Maryland community is rallying around the victims and families of those killed and injured in the Edgewood, Maryland, shooting incident on October 18, 2017.  J.D. Russell of HPS Management, and Lauren Arikan, a friend of the business owners, jointly announce a donation website to help those families affected by the Advance Granite Solutions shooting tragedy this week.  

The website is www.EdgewoodDonations.com where visitors can contribute to a GoFundMe page set up today for the victims and their families.  All funds will go through the Victoria Russell Foundation, a local non-profit which helps support victims of crime.

The Victoria Russell Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established by J.D.  Russell in 2015 to help foster a strong relationship between the community and law enforcement. In addition to education of the public and awarding scholarships to children of law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel, part of its mission is to assist victims of crimes and their family in times of need immediately following a crime.

HPS Management Acquires Guardian Property Management

October 13, 2017

HPS Management and Guardian Property Management jointly announced the acquisition of Guardian by HPS Management effective immediately.  The terms of the agreement will merge Guardian’s managed communities with the communities currently managed by HPS Management, while Guardian’s Maintenance Department will reorganize into a new separate company providing maintenance and construction services in Delaware.

Guardian’s President Bob Scott said, "I couldn't be more excited to have the opportunity to partner with HPS Management. Through this process we were looking to partner with a company that shared our core values and we have the utmost confidence HPS Management will serve our current customers in a superior fashion, as well as the entire community." Scott will serve as the President of the newly created Guardian Property Services, LLC and continue to provide maintenance and construction services.
